Think about you, think about Earth

Our desires are sometimes dangerous. Why I say that? Is because our desires can lead to destruction, can harm us and everyone around us. Our desires for more wealth can cause damage, a damage that can never be fixed. So today, just think about your desires and relate them to your necessities. You’ll see the big difference between them and notice that our needs are so few that by meeting them will never disturb the environment’s harmony. The problem starts when our need is replaced by our greed.

Today we celebrate Earth, our home, our only home that despite our destructions still holds and protects us. Let’s be more aware from today! Let’s think twice when we say “I need a faster car”, “I need a bigger home”, “I need more”. What we truly need is fresh air and water, healthy food and less pollution. Let’s start taking care of ourselves and of our planet! Happy Earth Day!
