Shades on,
Hoodie required,
Black or grey,
Colors that lack to inspire.
That’s my camouflage
And my way to sabotage
The misconception
Or misperception
Of human beings
And their reactions.
A bit of everything, just to keep my erroneous mind busy.
Shades on,
Hoodie required,
Black or grey,
Colors that lack to inspire.
That’s my camouflage
And my way to sabotage
The misconception
Or misperception
Of human beings
And their reactions.
Love it…hoodies are my favorite things in the world…nice poem about the art of invisibility

They are best when you need to go unnoticed ☺

We all have those moments when we want to blend into the scenery. 🙂 Nice poem.

ooo I like how your camouflage is not protection but instead used for subterfuge. Very nice!

Very good point, Melinda. I like how the camouflage is a way to avoid being labeled. I feel left out for not enrolling in this course having been in Writing 201 Poetry and enjoyed it so, but I am enjoying the poems everyone is writing.

Black clothes and hoodies… kind of still my thing. At what age should you stop wearing hoodies? 🙂

Thank you☺. I needed to write it down, sooner or later. Thanks to @jacquelineobyikocha and her prompt, it was sooner than expected. Though I need to elaborate it a bit😊

This poem made me smile, because I have a thing going on with my son and his dark hoodie which he loves quite a lot. Its always interesting to see how images and words can create a subterfuge or a perception. I like your take on the prompt.

This is so good. Indeed I have my clothing subterfuges. Including a black and a gray hoodie!
All my best to you.

Your poem inspired a whole story in my mind. I could easily live in a hoody, jeans and my baseball-style caps. Oh wait, I pretty much do!
