Psychochromatic Redemption

A bit of everything, just to keep my erroneous mind busy.

Daily photographic diaries

Because sometimes you need to be challenged in order to see progress, I chose to challenge myself to describe my day through a photograph.

Early morning thoughts

Are we better off not knowing things? Can the truth hurt us more than the lies? Is it better to stay in the darkness, than turning your face to the light? Because if the light is too bright, it can be blinding to the naked eye?

These are the question I contemplated on today, whilst listening to the sea. Us, as people, are programmed to have certain expectations, to accept what it is, and forget about what it isn’t. We are programmed to get a job, go to work, come back home, complain about the work we do, always dreaming for better days, get married, complain about own husband/wife, produce offsprings, stress about their wellbeing, complain about their inquisitiveness, get a promotion, buy a house, pay bills and mortgage, retire and die. We spend most of our lives complaining about stuff and another part do our programming. And, in all this hustle, we forget about ourselves. We forget about our dreams, we don’t even discover our hidden talents and most of all we forget to search, to learn. Because learning is unconfortable, learning takes time and in the process, you might discover things that aren’t as you thought they are. You might discover a painful truth, hidden between the beautiful lies. You might get hurt and suffer, because learning and discovery is not easy and it takes a lot of patience…

And then again? Are we ready for that? Or is is better to live your program and die whilst living.

Blurred lines

Those blurred lines in life

Can bring great chaos but also peace

Depending on views.

Get inspired

December 12th,

Rain seems to be a constant this month and it’s not pleasant, but even then, you can spot something nice. Always be prepared to look for the unusual in a boring scene. Those seagulls were fighting over a piece of bread @ McDonald’s parking lot.

Inspired by a picture

December 11th,

Today’s photograph inspired me into writing a verse:

Smile as there’s no reason not to

Enjoy what you see and connect

Life is wonderful and interesting too

Some words upon to reflect.

December 10th,

Today is a reflection of the year 2019 and how grateful I am for everything that happened this year good and bad. One of the things that made me especially proud is shown in the image of the day. Today is not a picture, it’s a screenshot, but that will do.

One of my poems has been published. Couldn’t be happier.

Dream for the sky

December 9th,

Sky’s the limit, so whenever you feel down, look for the sky and go on…

Fly away

December 8th,

There’s something peaceful in the flight of the birds, something that can’t be put into words.

December 07,

Reflections are everywhere, we just have to look around and see them

December 6th,

That’s the thought I woke up with and after looking at my pen I remembered that we constantly have to dare ourselves to go out of our comfort zone and live our own adventure.
